Arillo in Terrabianca – Bistro

On the ground floor of the Arillo winery in Terrabianca, the reception area is located alongside staff offices, a bistro, a wine exhibition, and a wine archive. By using materials already familiar from the architecture of Mario Botta, a link and smooth transition are created between the striking exterior and the winery’s interior. For instance, blocks and floor slabs of Rapolano travertine were used, echoing the façade, and complemented by chestnut wood and black raw steel, which serve as contrasting elements.
